Game Summary

Mets out gust Knights!!

The Nassau Mets and NY Knights were able to add in a doubleheader to make up some of the rainouts/forfeits/taken away games, unfortunately no umpires were told. The two teams decided to play a single game in the 90 mph winds with the catchers calling balls and strikes.

As the game progressed neither team was able to put anything together through 5 innings. In the top of the sixth Billy Vogt helped his own cause with a lead off double. Billy then stole third and scored on a Tommy Reilly RBI single. The bottom of the inning was filled with bloop and seeing eye singles giving the Mets a 2-1 lead. In the top of the seventh the Knights threatened, but left the bases loaded.

Knights Knotes:
* The Knights need to win a few to make the playoffs!!!
