Game Summary

Knights' Lose Second Straight!

It looked as though the Storm didn't get the notice about the game starting at 8, but then 4 van loads of players showed up and it was the Knights that were scrambling for a ninth player. After the Storm lent the Knights Hector, normally a pitcher, but a utility guy none the less, the game was on. Tommy Reilly took the mound after the Storm pitcher sent the Knights down 1-2-3 on 3 strikeouts (He also dominated the Dominican National Team last week). Tommy pitched a 3 solid innings allowing 2 runs on 5 hits and striking out 4. In the fourth inning Knights new comer, Jimmy McCaffrey, took the mound and was quickly shown how well the Storm hits fastballs as the first batter took Jimmy deep. After that Jimmy settled down pitching the final 3 innings allowing 4 runs on 5 hits while striking out 5.

Offensively, the Knights threatened in the sixth loading the bases, but failed to score. The lone Knights run was scored in the seventh when Hector Rolon lead off with a single, stole second (thanks to John Bosch running) and scored on a Paxton Provitera single.

Knights Knotes:
* The player costs for the Fall Season are $200 per player, bring this amount to the next game!

* Paxton Provitera leads the team in batting average and on base percentage...what's going on here!?!?
