Offensively, Bobby Gruttadauria went 3 for 3 with 3 infield singles, Tommy Reilly went 2 for 3 with 3 runs scored, and John Bosch, Richie Cave and Mike Urtnowski all went 2 for 4. Defensively the Knights again displayed their upgraded fielding, committing only 1 error. The final component of the winning puzzle flew right into place on the "wing" of Knights rookie Lucas Clementz. Lucas threw a complete game 5 hitter allowing 2 runs. The more Lucas pitches the more the Knights like having on the team. After walking 8 and striking out 3 in his first start, Lucas flipped the numbers for a much more impressive 8 strikeout, 3 walk outing. As he increases his innings pitched, the rest of the league better watch out! We're glad you're on our side Lucas, welcome back to baseball!!
Knights Knotes:
* The Knights belted 15 hits giving each man in the 11 man lineup 4 at bats!
